Hi, Carl, Thanks for read my tip which on top of the forum. But did also read my other tips on the top? I told the new users , what was my technical back ground of SIMODRIVE, (IT HAS BEEN discontinued by Siemens for many years). 

I am sure can help you. but I need you to follow the instruction in my topic, report the detail of your drives, and hope you can post a picture which you think the best to support yourself to let other people to understand your problem.

I have a problem with a 611U drive which the eprom has become corrupt and has no firmware installed. The other 2 drives that our machine has are both OK. When I try to go online with drive and load parameter file the photo shows the following:

‘File includes no firmware for SIMODRIVE. Please obtain an appropriate file’

Version being used of SimocomU is 14.02.02 2014/06/16.

Any help greatly appreciated as I can not find any file on PC to upgrade.
