Hello,

I am working with TIA Portal V20 and using a CPU 1517H-3 PN (6ES7 517-3HP00-0AB0). The hardware has been connected, and the network architecture is configured correctly in TIA Portal.

When I run the project with WinCC RT Advanced V20 (PC Station), the communication works fine and I can see the output as expected.
However, when I try the same setup with WinCC RT Professional V20, there is no communication between the PLC and WinCC — I am unable to see any data exchange.

Has anyone faced a similar issue?

• Do I need to configure something additional in WinCC RT Professional (e.g., runtime connection, license, or channel settings)?

• Are there any specific settings required in S7-1500 H CPUs when working with WinCC RT Professional?

Any guidance or suggestions would be very helpful.

please have a look in the HMI connection in the WInCC Prof project.

there is defined an Access Point. In WinCC Advanced Systems by default S7Online is used and often it is set correctly because you often use ist.

In WinCC Professional there could be another accesspoint by default. You can set it also to S7Online or you have to create and set it correctly in PGPC Interface settings
