Hi forum I am trying to constrct dynamic pointers for a GET request and I have followed this post (How does it does a dinamic pointer?. - Siemens SiePortal). When using the constructed ADDR and hardcode RD, the GET block works when activating REQ. If I use the constructed ADDR and RD, the block is not getting data. The local CPU is S7-1500 and remote is S7-400.
According to the monitor window everything looks as I assume. Do you have any idea what is wrong? |

From the link you provide, the image "dynamic-REMOTE-address-adaption.png" looks promising for the S7-1500 side. I assume the GET block is on the S7-1500 side. For the S7-1500, it is also possible to build an ANY pointer. The forum has some SCL coding examples on how to do that. Provided by @Smiffy, if I recall correctly. Whichever way.. use the calssic forum interface and attach some screen captures or project as a ZIP file. This way we can see what you are doing. |
