I’m experiencing the same issue. My hardware is the same as yours, but I’m using TIA Portal 21 for both the PLC and the modules.
I’m not receiving any data from the port output. I sniffed the port with a serial monitor, and the PLC doesn’t send any packets to the slave.
The master status shows 7000 and 7002, where 7002 is supposed to indicate that a packet has been sent to the slave, but in practice, no packets are actually transmitted.
Were you able to resolve your issue?

Do you have the download link for the new firmware? I can't find it anywhere on the portal.

I have submitted a request to Siemens Support and hope it will be effective.

The Modbus Master block is configured correctly and is supposed to transmit the following RTU frame:

However, the actual data observed on the RS-485 port is:
