Ex barrier for LOGO digital inputs

sth Posts: 29 Rating: (1)	Hi, I will have to connect a LOGO to different sensors which are in an explosive area. The sensors are Ex-approved, the LOGO will be in another room. I'm looking for an Ex barrier in order to connect the sensors (NO contact, 1 contact per sensor, from 2 to 8 sensors, depending of the applications) to the LOGO. I already did a research on google and Siemens website but I would know if some of you have used an Ex-barrier, which model and what is your opinion about it (quality, how many insulated input/output, type of insulation: relays or opto-couplers,..)

FogBot Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	I use the Phoenix2835493intrinsic safety barriers, discrete 2 CH24VDC. Never had any problems. I wish Siemens made them.
