How to display simodrive 611 in project tree to configure directlt from Step 7?

dgfoxjones Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	I have a simodrive 611 on a dp network connected to a 317 cpu. When I open the project in simatic manager the icon for the simodrive is shown in the right panel when the simatic station is high lighted. Why does it not display in the projecttree branching off the simatic station. I have simodrive U and Drive ES V5.4 SP2 installed for configuring the drive but I'm guessing I'm missingsomething ? I did read a thread saying that drive ES was required. Do I need to update the service pack ? Would appreciate any help.

dgfoxjones Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	Had Drive ES Advanced installed on PC originally which would not show the simodrive files in the project tree. Installed Drive ES Basic Shared Components and simodrives now showing in tree. Would have posted sooner but forgot all about it.
