HMI Communication possibilities with ABB

Navnag Platinum Member Joined: 11/21/2007 Last visit: 7/25/2025 Posts: 2326 Rating: (309)	Hello Experts What are the communication possibilities for the following ABB PLCs ( I would like to use WinCC Flexible / WinCC ) : a) ABB PLC ACM800M (PM856K01). b) ABB PLC - CPU- KT96 I have gone through the Catalogs and Manuals of WinCC Flexible / WinCC, however could not find any clear information regarding protocols available for communication with the above PLCs Thanks Navnag

Scope of experimemtation / testing on the PLC is limited. He wants us to provide Siemens HMI for these PLCs as Most HMIs in the Plants are WinCC / WinCC Flexible. Cheers Navnag
