Communication problems between STEP7 and WINAC

ARuiz Regular Member Joined: 9/18/2006 Last visit: 3/27/2024 Posts: 21 Rating: (1)	Hi, I have instaled WinLC RTX on a PC and It's worked perfectly during months but yesterday I needed restart the system. The WinLC restart ok and the state got RUN without problems but I can't connect with Step7 from other PC or connect via OPC. When I try to connect I recive the error number 33:16418 The time for Step7 telegram has expired. Knows anybody where is the problem? Thanks in advance.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, this is not an easy one. I would personally say that something or someone changed the configuration. I would try to see if the configurationhad beenmade right and the PC is pingable at it's IP Address. Than I wouldcheck if the CoCo showsanyerrors. If you have the OPC Connection, I guess you use S7-Connections than. If so checkif the S7-RedConnect - S7 Connection diagnosis shows anything. Check if the Station Name changed since the Download... or if someone changed the location of the WinLC Application in the System. Just to give you some ideas Best regards J_Bell

When I restarted the system the configuration of the IE General disappeared. I don't know why but it disappeared. Then I downloadedthe configuration again and the system worked. Thanks for your help.
