Hi all,

The s7-1500 has failsafe CPU's but it doesn't have any failsafe IO modules. So in order to use failsafe IO I have to use the ET200M or ET200SP distributed IO, i think.

Is this correct, or do I mis something?

Yes, at this moment you need to use Remote IO with Failsafe cards.

 Yes.

They confirmed this to me a couple of week ago in a Siemens workshop about the Failsafe... 

ET200 series looks like the best solution right now(S7-1200 has some limitations)

They also said that next year there will be news about support also for the S7-1500, but that's all, no more informations than this.
