I did something wrongwith my test bench SIMODRIVE 611U control board.made it dead, if somebody know how to make it recover please help me. Or we will get a lesson from that.

I know you can replace control board when it is defective, simply taking out memory card from the old one and insert into the new control board, as all parameters and system software are all locate on that small card.Drive will be recover to run very quicklly.Condition is the old and new control board are same control type and compatible versions.

same control type--I mean speed control/ position control and encoder feedback or resolver feedback.

I did something which not follow that rule ,I got a used611U control board without memory card and with unkown working history.I took memory card from my good resolver feedback control board then insert it intothis control board which using encoder feedback.The unknown control board display"00000000" when power up.

after I bring the memory card back to my good control board.Oh my GOD,! it is also not working give me display "00000000"( 8 digit of "0"). you cannot do any operating. also I try to connect SimoCOM U to download back up data or firmware. BUTit connot make communication from SIMO COM U to 611U contrl board.--OK, if we can get a lesson from my "Unsuccessful test.

But by chance if somebody know how to recover from this trouble, please help me.

or It should going back to Siemens factory for test and recovery.

Could you please provide the MLFB numbers of both cards? 

 Are you just interested for the result or you have same problem? as I know Siemens will not support this problem, not only for the product is discontinued but that will not happen in normal maintenance or services practise. only some careless guy like me did some foolish action.--I post this - not expected to get answer--but wanted show the forum friends --getting lesson from my case.

I deal with 611U for more than 20 years and still work with it now. (I like this system very much)This case happed for my mistake, I know the reason. But after that case I have one customer their 611U card display "00000000" after power up and not continue, but they didn't tell me the reason. only I can do --is  replacing the 611U control card and download data for them.
