Can I replace a control module 6sn1118-0ae11-0aa1 to 6sn1118-0ae11-0aa0 (the last digit is different)? 

I can't find any information for (the maybe older) module  6sn1118-0ae11-0aa0 - especially a DIP-switch setting.

just go ahead to use it, and you can remember not only for 611A (you using) but also for 611D (99.9%) SUCH AS 6SN1118-0DG23-0AAX---X=0,1,2  they are for production version compatible,

dip switch are used for matching motor, controller .. you must set to the same. 

(be careful exception on 611U )
