TP700 COMFORT INTERNET CONNECTON ISSUE

plcnc1986 Member Joined: 11/22/2017 Last visit: 3/11/2025 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	hello, im trying to solve a little problem with my panel, the setup is this vpn gateway (sevio basic) ip 192.168.0.100 plc s7-1200 ip: 192.168.0.1 hmi tp700 comfort ip:192.168.0.2 mask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.0.100 prmary dns 192.168.0.100 main problem: i need to enable the HMI panel to view a website the comunication between HMI & PLC its ok, but hmi cant reach any website with browser, i've tryed to ping the google dns and it failed, i've tried to ping the gateway and it failed too!! i can't understand what is missing another try i've make is connect my laptop to the gateway to test if can go on internet and it works fine

It is not clear to me what exactly you are trying to do. In principle, the first thing I would recommend is to check the following link to the HMI Comfort Panel manual for web server parameterization: "SIMATIC HMI HMI devices Comfort Panels: Configure Web Server" Best regards!

I did a quick test with a Hotspot and a Wlan Client, then set the IP on my TP1200 Comfort to dhcp and I can access google (ping to google.de works also on the panel in command prompt). But I do not have a router or accesspoint with fixed IPs so i could not test it at the moment. But simple websites like google should work. Of couse almost any other website that works with https or which is more complex does not work because the webbrowser cannot handle it. Bye Murof
