Unable to Download to HMI with TIA Portal V20 due to Missing WinCC Panel Image

Hello,

I’m using TIA Portal V20, but I can’t download a project to an HMI Basic panel because theWinCC Panel Imagefile is not available for V20. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a workaround until the file is released?

Please visit the download page to find the latest image version for your device. In the case of a WinCC Comfort / Mobile / Basic Panel, the latest available version is V17, as this is the last version with new features.

However, you can use these devices with newer TIA Portal versions, but to have the image available for automatic upgrade during project transfer, the files must be placed in a special location. However, if you are using the recommended HMI Panel Image Updater (PIU), the tool will take care of this.
