I am having problems with emails on LSC 8.4.1 and firmware 1.84.03. It will allow me to add *.com, however, not *.co.uk, is there a solution to this as it just says "Removed invalid or duplicate email address", see attachments.

Also why does it need login credentials for port 25 legacy use, this port doesn't need credentials on our system?

I received the reply below from my support ticket:

Thank you for contacting Siemens Technical Support. 

Regarding the configuration allowing you to add *.com, however, not *.co.uk, this is a known issue. The address that ends with a valid top-level domain name e.g. “.co.uk”, does not allow for configuration due to the syntax. This will be resolved in a next logo version.

From this i understand that a new hardware revision is needed to fix something like this?

I myself thought it was an LSC error altogether.

Btw, this same bug was even earlier, in 1.84.02 (my message, describing same issue, is latest in thread).

This is more and more frustating, that addresses like <phonenumber>@sms.telia.ee still can't be used and requires workarounds such as sending to gmail address and forwarding from there.

Btw, last FW update was in October 2024
