I have a KTP900 panel that I'm trying to backup with ProSave.  I keep getting a “Could not establish a connection. Check your Settings, cables, etc” when trying to backup the recipes using ProSave. I can successfully ping the HMI from the laptop using 192.168.0.2 but can't initiate any sort of backup.  What settings and where do I need to check?   What The HMI was created with V13 SP1 and am currently using TIA Portal V13 SP2.  The ProSave version that came with V13 SP2 is labeled V14.  The HMI is on IP address 192.168.0.2.  All the information I've read is very basic with  that just plug in and initiate the transfer.    If prosave is the wrong tool, then how can the HMI recipes be backed up short of writing them down on paper?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for responding.  I am directly connected from the laptop's ethernet port directly to the KTP900 HMI.

 What is your S7ONLINE connection point? You can easily see and change it in Setting the PG/PC Interface. The S7ONLINE connection point should be the network card you are using for the connection.
