I have  cnc 840d powerline in our machine. Internal plc is s7 300 and external plc is s7-400. S7 300 and 400 send and receive data through GD communication. Is it possible to updload gd table from cpu .  I dont have original backup.  I tried to upload from netpro>   options>gd table > gd table from cpu  . I am getting error as “the specified cpu or cpu on the same rack must be accessible by means of the mpi network”

I am afraid there is no way you can upload a GD table from the PLC program. When you create a GD table, it is not saved in the PLC as a loadable (and retrieval) block such as a DB, FB or FC, but as a SDB, such as hardware configuration or network data. To look at this type of information, Siemens provides special tools, such as HWConfig or Netpro. But they never gave out a tool for GD tables.
