G3H4N Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm trying toget a TP177B talk to a CU320 over Profibus. I want to control the Jog and MDIusing the HMI without a PLC. I was wondering if this is possible and if it is are there any documentation on how to do this? Thx, Gehan

WASABEE Posts: 4 Rating: (4)	Yep, you can easily configure HMI (I did it with a MP277) over profibus directly into the Sinamics Control Unit without PLC using WinCC flexible. Listed below are thedirections... For accessing Sinamics drive parameters from the HMI to the drive is configured as a Simatic S7 300/400 device in WinCC flexible. Additionally, the following simple rules apply: Parameter number = Data block number Parameter sub-index = bit 0-0 of data block offset Drive Object number = bit 10-15 of data block offset In the example project, the CU is drive object #1, and the AC-AC power module is object #2. The sinamics object parameters are therefore accordingly addressed: Use the formula below... CU Parameters (Object #1): DBW = 1024 + Parameter index AC-AC power module parameters (Object #2): DBW = 2048 + parameter index For instance, Parameter p2098[1] of the control unit is addressed in the WinCC flexible tagaddress as DB2098 DBW1025. Parameter p898 (with no index) of Power module is addressed as DB898 DBW2048. Parameter p2098[0] of the Power module is addressed as DB2098 DBW2048 Another example.... If my drive object #1 is CU320 drive object #2 is Drive 2 drive object #3 is Drive 3 drive object #4 is the TB30 (optional board) then Tad address in Wincc Flexible should be... For Drive 2's parameter r2132 (with no index, actual alarm code) is addressed as DB2132 DBW2048. Drive 3's parameter r2132 (with no index, actual alarm code) is addressed as DB2132 DBW3072. Drive 2's parameter P9733[1] (Safe limited speed for positive direction) is addressed as DB9733 DBW2049. Drive 2's parameter P9733[0] (safe limited speed for negative direction) is addressed as DB9733 DBW2048. TB30's parameter r4047 (digital output status) is address as DB4047 DBW6144. For parameters where you want PXXX.X, you can grab the entirelength and use the WinCC flexible option to mask out to get the correct bit you want... side note: Drive fault codes can be read at the HMI panel for each drive object using the parameter array r945[i] or if you just want theoldest activefault code, then it is r2131.
