Posts, Intellectual Property and Export Compliance

You retain the copyright in your posts and will be responsible for your posts. Notwithstanding Section 5.3 of the Terms of Use, by posting in the Forum, you grant Siemens an unrestricted, nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute and display any of your posts throughout the world in any media. Siemens is under no obligation to post or use any submission, and may remove your posts at any time.
You grant Siemens and its affiliates the right to use the user name you chose for your profile in connection with submissions (including, by way of example, displaying your user name on Your posts or replies).
Texts from other web pages or other publications must not exceed the scope of a quotation. You shall mark such quotes as such.
You are not allowed to publish personal information of third parties (names, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, etc.) without their explicit agreement. Respective information will be deleted by the moderators without further comment if Siemens becomes aware of it. Telephone numbers and e-mail addresses which you state as your own data and of which Siemens becomes aware of will also be deleted from your post to protect you.
Screenshots, projects or other additional information must be published as an attachment of the post. When this information is included as a “file hoster” link, Siemens may make this linked information available as an attachment. In this case these links will be deleted after review by the moderators.
Contents of a post and possible attachments must be in compliance with Export Control Regulations, i.e. the content must be limited to publicly available information and direct derivations from it.
