Teleservice Modem Selective Communication...

TechnoDude Posts: 47 Rating: (1)	I have a TS adapter on a 413-2DP. The phone line is good and this connection has been used many times. The problem is that only one modem (US Robotics 0668) on the calling end will establish communication with the TS adapter. Various notebook modems and even other USR modems will not correctly "identify adapter" when trying to make a connection. Is there a list of compatible modems, or instruction on how to correct this issue. The "troubleshooting" section for the TS adapter does not cover this. Thanks!

TechnoDude Posts: 47 Rating: (1)	Problem turned out to be with Dell notebook modem[:(]. Some Dell modems don't get along very well with Teleservice adapters. Using an external "BOCA" modem or US Robotics successfully.
