Do you already have .NET 3.5 installed on the Win7 PC?  What Win7 Service Pack is installed?  What was the last (security) servicing stack windows update (KB) installed?

What other Siemens software is installed on the Win7 PC?

You should attempt to install Win13 SP1 or SP2 instead of just Win13.

The original DVD may not install because of the age of the files.

If you are able to temporarily lie to your Win7 PC and tell it the current date is not 2026, but instead 2014 or 2015, you may have better luck, but that may still not be enough.

My recommendation is to contact Siemens Support to download the latest full install package for Win13 SP1 or SP2 with its latest Update.  Then copy those install files to the Win7 PC via USB  (Thumb) Drive (since you should NOT place a Win7 onto any network, and most definitely not allow a Win7 PC to connect to the internet).

Please post back your results after successfully installing Portal V13 onto your Win7 PG/PC.

I am unable to install the TIA Portal V13 software on a PC with Windows 7. I am attaching the installation .log file. I have tried on two different PCs and I cannot complete the installation. I have the original Dvd. And I have a License.What could be the problem?
