WinCC Flex 2008 SP3 Upd7 Build K01.04.00.07_01.06.00.07

I have a series alarms where I want an INT to be displayed. That INT tag is Pallet_Number, we display that value on an HMI where the operator can verify the pallet number on the screen matches the pallet number in front of them.  I added the tag to the discreet alarm with the following text “DB1010.DBX24.4 AL.0010.1A In-Station Stop - Pallet Travel Fault - I300.7, Pallet # <tag Pallet_Number>”  When I compile the HMI program I get the following error “Error  :  The message text of bit message '1185' is invalid due to usage of multiplexing enabled tag(s) within 'Text': Pallet_Number, ” I have included this tag into 10 different discreet alarms and i do get 10 different instants of this error.  I'm not sure what i need to do it correct this issue.  I have turned on Multiplexing, but i do not understand what i'm suppose to do with it, does anyone have any suggestions?

If the Multiplexing property is enabled for an internal tag in WinCC flexible, it can only be used to display the corresponding value (depending on the index tag), e.g., in IO fields.

Use elsewhere e.g., in function lists, or  (as in your case) , as a placeholder in the message text is not permitted.

To solve the problem:

1) Please try disabling the Multiplexing property.

2) Use another tag as a placeholder in the message text, where the Multiplexing property is not enabled.
