PCS7 V10.0 SP1 IF ELSE Actions not working

Skully Member Joined: 4/17/2019 Last visit: 7/24/2025 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi, After updating from V10.0 UC2 to V10.0 SP1, we have problem with IF-ELSE. IF_ELSE actions are not processed if condition is meet. See attached pic1. This was working before - We just upgraded from V10.0 UC02 to V10.0 SP1. This behavior was spotted in already validated EPHs and EMs. Workaround: If We change the IF_ELSE to IF-IF(with inverted condition), then it works fine. Unfortunately We cannot do this workaround for all affected parts, they were already validated. We found some EPHs, where the IF_ELSE statement still works, so it is not a general fault. We tried recompiling everything, updating libraries and firmware, but without success. Has anyone encountered this problem or know of a solution? Skully Attachment Pic1.png (99 Downloads)

There is one rule for SFC: if no commands with initialization are present, the Initialization phase is not executed. Can you verify this? I have my number of shares with the EMT/EPHT and it could be well be a bug, but you need to be sure since providing this to support will take up a lot of time too. Maybe you can also add a new condition to the If statement for example a bool which you can manipulate on the front (set as link parameter). Check if the function works if you change the signal. Also, please read through the readme notes of the CFC or PCS7 V10 SP1 manuals to see if there are restrictions. If that all looks good, I suggest you create a SR

The problem was in the commands themselves and after updating the version to SP1, they needed to be synchronized, even though they were not touched at all. Before that, I had only synchronized EM and EPH.
