CPU: A2621_CU3 6SL3040-0AMA00-0Axx Infeed: 6SL3130-7TE31-2Axx (120kW) Drive: 6SL3120-1TE23-0Axx Motor: 1FK7060-xAF7x-xKxx When we first add the Infeed to the project the RDY LED on the infeed flashed green/red (firmware update according to manual) then stayed red. In Starter the following alarms come up when trying to download the project: CU DRIVE-CLiQ: Synchronization application clock cycle missing(9) EEPROM data error My question is if this is a hardware error of the infeed, a firmware update issue or just an incompatibility of drive and infeed, since the infeed is oversized. Thanks

Second delete the user folder from the CF Card (without a project). Plug it in again and see the behavior When the FW is updated, it requires a little bit time. Third, put a new FW onto the card, put it into the slot and start the drive again, check the behavior after FW upgrade, without a project. Upgrade and upgrade procedure: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109780844 By the way before an existing project is loaded onto a newer (higer firmware) drive, the existing project has to be upgraded offline with the STARTER tool ahead.

gdna Member Joined: 4/19/2022 Last visit: 3/13/2024 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Thank you for the response. The upgrade procedure apparently applies to CU320-2 (6SL3040-1MA00-0AA0) My CPU number is 6SL3030-0MA00-0AA1. Would that upgrade procedure still make sense?
