Home Assistant is the opensource software which helps to control smart home IoT, integrates hundred of dozen different standard into one system. I'm using that to collect data such as power, production of electricity from solar, usage of water, alarm, cameras. Now I wanted to add heat pump to the system to track parameters and assign alarms to identify problems before service. One of the example is pressure in circuits. Anyway Home assistant has modbus plugin where I can configure sensors that means I can pull data from modbus registers. Not sure if can program controller but edit writable registers I think so. What I need is to capture holding registers like temperatures, pressures, maybe some alarms. I found that Modbus-communication-integration-guide.pdf
I tried RTU overt TCP transmision. AttachmentModbus-communication-integration-guide.pdf (1075 Downloads) |

Hi John, have you made any progress with your constellation? I have a POL638 that I'd like to connect into Homebridge. The controller has 4242tcp and 80tcp ports open, 502tcp is filtered. I can read certain outputs through http at port 80, but I cannot control anything, such as toggling "Presence". Do you have any findings?
