Hi

I have a lot of tags that I need to log Cyclic every 5 seconds. 

My workflow now is: 

1. Select tag
2. Insert name in Logging tags
3. Select Data log
4. Select Logging mode
5. Select Logging Cycle

I need to do this for every single tag that I want to log. 

Logging information is not in exported as tag data, so I can not change it in excel. 
How can I make this workflow easier? 

In WinCC 7.5 I have all log in a sheet. I can just mark, and draw all settings.

I'm using TIA Openness to automatically add and change logging tags. You can find a detailed description of the possibilities in the manual in chapters 5.13.1.8 and 5.13.1.10.

I want to look into this, looks perfect for me. I need to make logging tags for hundreds of tags. the tricky thing with our project is that the tags I need are nested very deep. It is impossible to select all of them to do it by hand. 

How to make a script for openess to use? Use visual basic?

I just wish Siemens would make it like before, to be able to set the tags directly in the log overview table…
