HI everyone!

I have a LOGO! CPU 6ED1052-2HB08-0BA0 with a memory card and i want to buy a spare one in case of damage. What I recently learnd is that this CPU has stopped and the Successor is 6ED1052-2HB08-0BA1.

My question is this : If I buy the new CPU and try to put it in the place of the the old CPU with the memory card that is running now the program, will it work?

I forgot to mention that this CPU is connected with 2DI/DO modules and 3 AI modules. Is the answer the same with the modules?

I want to ask you another question.

The program of the CPU I have has a password from the manufacturer.I don't have this password. In the case I will remove the memory card from the old CPU and put it in the new one ,will the new CPU run the program or not? I don't want to rewrite the program only to move it from the old to the new one for quick repair.
