Hello!

I would love to work in a simotion but up to know I did not come across any project using them, only PLC's and Sinamics drives. I have attended the course MC-SMO-DG, but I’m living in small island where there is no industry, but good quality life, so no complains on that.

So, I would like to make a pet project that I’m willing to buy the hardware/software. So is there any idea for a small project that I could use simotion hardware? If it had a social benefit for the local community or others, I’m willing to apply my spare time in the development.

Thanks for the link. But I was looking for some type of application idea with simotion or only servomotors that could helpfull.

I thought in making a small demo case with two axes and give it to a local school.

Bruno, maybe the Simotion solution is not cheap because "to see something" you should have a couple of motors, with a couple of drives and cables... So it's $$$...

Why don't you use a simple S71200 PLC and play with lights/buttons, etc ? It's cheaper and easier
