Hello SIOS Forum Community, Today's plants and machines are becoming more and more complex and variegated every day, and this also affects the environment of functional plant safety. Experience shows that specific functions, such as "Safe Position" (SP), are not necessarily always programmed and used according to the standard (DIN EN 61800-5-2). This may lead to unexpected behaviour and errors when executing this function. The LDrvSafe library contains blocks that simplify the programming of the safety functions for the user. Especially when using the functions "Safe Position" (SP), "Safety-Limited Position" (SLP) and "Safe CAM" (SCA), a precise procedure must be followed for "Safe Referencing". See attached image The exact procedure is described from page 81 of the LDrvSafe manual.
