V90 Vhange motor Type - Can I do it by TIA Portal??

Hi,

with TiA 15.1 you need V-Assistant software to connect to V-90 drive and change the motor model.

You can download it here:V-ASSISTANT link

It is very easy and quick to use with USB cable between your pc and the drive.

I needchange the motor type on an application with V90 and CPU 1511-C, controlled by technology objects. Tia Portal V15.1

The old motor is:

1FL6042-1AF61-2AA1

SIMOTICS S-1FL6 Operating voltage 3AC 400 V Pn=0.4 kW; Nn=3000 rpm M0=1.9 Nm; MN=1.27 Nm Shaft height 45 mm, with angle plug; incremental encoder 2500 incr./rev. with feather key Tolerance N without holding brake Degree of protection IP65 with sealing ring compatible with the converters SINAMICS V70 & V90

The new motor is:

1FL6042-1AF61-2LB1

SIMOTICS S-1FL6 Operating voltage 3AC 400 V Pn=0.4 kW; Nn=3000 rpm M0=1.9 Nm; MN=1.27 Nm Shaft height 45 mm, with angle plug; absolute encoder 20-bits (12-bit multi-turn) with feather key, tolerance N with holding brake Degree of protection IP65 with sealing ring compatible with the converters SINAMICS V70 & V90

Can I make this change only with the TIA Portal or I have to use V-Assistant?

We need to enable the brake and select the right motor.
