s120 g150 differences

I do not know what is the differences between Sinamics s120 and g150 drives.

because both of them use cu320 control unit (refer to tia portal hardware catalog).

would you please guide?

It seems that the main difference between different series of Sinamics is related to their power modules not their control units. am I right?

There are many differences between the famiies of Sunamics drives, that go further than their power and control modules, such as their recommended applications and control techniques.

This manual shuld be able to provide enough information for you to understand the specifixcs of each drive family.

G1x0 - general purpose drive
S1x0 - special application, or high performance drive

a150 - higher power (typically) with prebuilt cabinet of components

That's my understanding as a simple end-user.

I use Siemens Sizer software to help determine the right drive type and size.
