Hello everyone, 

I have been working with Simotion Scout, more precisely with LAD type of program. I am having a hard time figuring out the following:

I have a few BOOL variables, and I want to send these variables as on WORD variable called Status_Word over PROFIBUS. Is there a syntax that can enable me to do this 

Status_Word.0 = VAR1[BOOL]
Status_Word.1 = VAR2[BOOL]

I have tried using move block to move the bool variable into the WORD variable using the above logic, however, I get the error message: 

Specification of the bit offset for the variable is not permitted under the selected compiler settings

Is there a way to solve this?

Is there a way to solve this? 

 Scout -> Options ->Settings -> Compiler -> Permit language extensions

and then enable this settings in a program file properties.
