do you use a software controller, or a regular S7-1500 cpu?

A S7-1500 does not have USB, so there is no need to deactivate.

But a S7-1500 need a SIMATIC Memory Card to operate, otherwise it can not be used. So there is no option die deactivate the Slot for the SMC.

But the slot can be locked with a padlock.

Have you tried to remove the memory card from the s7-1500 while it was running?  What happened?

And, where are those USB ports?  I want them! Pictures please.

Is there an option to disable USB port or Memory card slots of the S7-1500 controller?
(Similar to how we can enable/disable Ethernet ports of the controller in TIA Portal)

Context: A way to avoid manual misuse of plugging in/out of the USB/SD card slots of the S7-1500 controller.
