I am trying to install 6RA8078-6DS22-0AA0 drive to run DC Motor for Plastic Extruder where Direction of rotation is critical for commissioning need to do optimization which cannot be done without load then connect motor to different machine and complete optimization... connect to the Extruder machine motor working but motor not rotating smoothly(like running similar to stepper motor) even RPM also varying.. and yes after switch on drive (Display is 0.0 & vary to 0.1 frequently changing) keeping potentiometer to "0" but still motor running slow speed with like stepper motor.

Please help me, this is 1st time working on Simense Drive, I can access drive throgh starter FYI.

Hello Tushar,

User can carry out optimisation steps without load. Then save those values & coupled motor to load. Depending on load application, load requirements & smooth functioning, user can vary Ramp UP Ramp down & current limits.

Or user can conduct manual optimisation also. Please refer SINAMICS DCM DC converters, Operating Instructions, Firmware Version V1.5  manual page 344.
