Contrast/accessibility issue - Desigo graph trends

Hi,
Whenever I trend multiple points on the same figure, I have trouble selecting colors for each dataset/a background color that can provide enough contrast for both yellow and dark grey, colors Desigo selects whenever you trend 4-5 points on the same graph.

One thing I noticed is that I would be able to have enough contrast for these data if there was no decorative gradient in the background of the figure and selected a dark color as a background for the figure.

Is there any way to disable this decorative gradient? It is not serving us any use. It does not improve the look of the figure, and it provides more of an obstacle for us, since we can't properly display 4 or more trends without one of the trends being an unreadable color.

Is this an option present in Desigo? Where could I configure this? Can I select the color palette Desigo uses to choose what trend points get what color?

 To add to this, I have tried different combinations of background color. The issue seems to be if I try and pick trends in order, where a trend displaying near the top of the range of whatever axis I am using happens to be a light color displayed over the light part of the gradient. Same goes for if Desigo selects a dark color for a particular point trend, it often ends up being one near the bottom of the axis range, in the dark part of the gradient background.

It is odd to even have a gradient in a figure that does not represent any data or correspond to anything the figure is trying to communicate. I am worried that the information we capture in these charts could be misconstrued.

Have you tried to make the lines thicker? That improves the readability a lot for me.

Yes, we have. We have a few discrete pressurizations/temperatures we keep track of, so we usually trend a lot of points with a lot of overlap. Thicker lines might improve our contrast, but we then lose our ability to distinguish two trended points. We can't rescale either, since we want to track both low and higher pressure points in the same graph.

Is there any resolution to this?

1. The gradient performs no useful task, and actually *reduces* the value of the graph. It performs the task of making certain trends unreadable. I think the obvious work forward would be to remove this.

2. This gradient is awful for accessibility - as an aside I have colorblindness and this feature is useless to me, and actually impedes my ability to perform my work.

Please provide me with an option to disable this background gradient. It is not helpful. It is deleterious to your product. This is not an aesthetic concern but a concern for use of your tool. Is there any way to elevate this issue?
