Getting High Limit Exceeded Error with no wires connected to analog input module

gaEFC Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I have a 8xAI (6ES7231-4HF32-0XB0) module that gave a high limit exceeded error at channel 0, I replaced it with a brand new one, and it still gives me the same error, even though there are no wires connected to the inputs.

SM 1231 analog input module specifications "Unused voltage input channels should be shorted. Unused current input channels should be set to the 0 to 20 mA range and/or disable broken wire error reporting." regards sancruz
