Changing BackColor for items in another window screen

I had a similar problem using WinCC Unified Toolbox example project.

Navigation.HighlightButton is a custom JScript of that project, not a proper System function of WinCC Unified (as ChangeScreen, for example). You can find it in Script>Navigation folder. If you check it, you will notice that the current JS code will not work for changing BackColor for items in another window screen different from the one that called it.
