I am facing problem in sinamic S120 that it gives error F07412 - Drive: Communication Angle  Incorrect.

One of my Siemens Motor (1FT6102-8AF71-3AH1), Encoder HEIDENHAIN (ERN 1387.025-2048 M5 lD: 727221-01) was damaged. I replaced with the same encoder but after this its continually give above mentioned error on screen.

Unable to identify where the fault is... kindly guide how to diagnose and rectify this problem.

One thing need to be clarify that we have total 7 motors with this encoder... as far as adjustment is concerned we decouple ok encoder from ok motor to cross check the equipment it was found  but as we connect new encoder with any motor it gives above mentioned error.

How to initialize the encoder value as the encoder was faulty... Is this can be done with reset button of Simotion D435.

I think the value at which encoder stopped working the value of that position was stored in simotion D435.

Need Suggestion....
