Hi,

When trying to start the simulation of a Unified project by clicking the icon in the TIA v18 taskbar, in stead of starting the simulation TIA opens an "Extended download to device" dialog.

Before today clicking the simulate icon caused a compile, then showed a "load" button after which I could open a local web browser and work with the simulated runtime.

What could have gone wrong today?

Clicked simulate again....   this time it worked.

Strange that it behaves differently if you're following always the same steps... that shouldn't happen.

Perhaps try to install Unified RT PC V18 Simulation & Trial through the following link:

If it continues the same, it may be interesting to update the Unified PC RT to Update SR1 released:

I would also recommend you check with the compatibility tool if your operating system is released to install / work with Unified V18.
