i have done all of the step, but it is not still working. Who can solve this problem ?

 I also have the same problem. Added a user, unticked the box, try to login but same contact admin message.

Portal V17 update 4.

Tried in both edge and chrome but no difference.

Any ideas what I need to do to get it to function correctly?

I created a local user with admin rights, unchecked the box during the load and still nothing.

Same problem here. I did everything suggested in this post and still no solution to simulate Unified Runtime.

I had the same issue. I sent my project to the support, but they didn't find any problems.

What did the trick for me was, to create a new project with one unified-panel and start the simulation. After that I was also able to load the simulation of my existing projects. I could reproduce this behaviour on all of our PCs. I think it's an issue with migrated projects from V16 to V17. And now let's see, what V18 will bring.

I used WinCC Unified V18 (Simulation of MTP1000) and faced the same problem initially. However afterwards I could open the runtime in the browser by doing the following (also it's mentioned in the FAQ shared above)

• Created a new user + it's password and assigned the HMI administrator role
• After the above step, I tried to initiate the simulation again - I clicked the simulated button
  
• "Keep current user administration data in runtime" setting needs to be unchecked and then loaded (Without reading any details I proceeded initially with the default settings {"Keep current user administration data in runtime" - was checked})
• Now I just typed the user name and password in the initial screen @ the browser and I could access the HMI Runtime
