4-20mA to % level - No full range

T_Ebrahem Bronze Member Joined: 1/2/2017 Last visit: 1/17/2025 Posts: 288 Rating: (25)	Hello all, I have a 4-20mA tank level sensor with linear charachtersics, where 4mA=0mm and 20mA=5000mm. I want to scale it to % level so that 0% = 150mm (4.48mA) and 100% = 2490mm (11.98mA). How can I achieve that in LOGO 8.3? any help is appreciated.

I see also the final result x10 which is logical for the text message, but I'm using web server which I don't think it support decimal points. correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks again, I still could not relate V2 and V3 to the given values. looking at the following FAQ entry, shouldn't be the gain (5000-0)/(20-4)?

ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 12/28/2025 Posts: 36381 Rating: (4545)	The following applies to gain: Output max = 1000 (100.0 %) Output min = 0 (0.0 %) Input max = 2494 (2494 mm) Input min = 150 (150 mm) Output max - Output min = 1000 - 0 = 1000 divided by Input max - Input min = 2494 - 150 = 2344 = 1000 / 2344 = 0.4266
