"Load Memory" or "Work Memory"

I am new with Siemens equipment, so please forgive me if the question is too simple... I am working on a PLC CPU 315-2 PN/DP. As you know dear Experts, it uses an MMC for the load memory. My question is: When connected online to the CPU with SIMATIC STEP7 (blue sky background), are the code blocks we are viewing situated on the "Load Memory" <=> MMC, or the code blocks are in the "Work Memory" ? While blocks and configuration not relevant to the program execution are stored in the load memory.
