Hello everyone

How can I place two independent motors, which are controlled by Sinamics S120 drives in such a way that they work as if they were a single axis, rotating both motors in phase and frequency simultaneously and perfectly synchronized at all times.

I have believed that using Technological Objects and functions such as

TO_PositioningAxis (as speed master) and TO_SynchronousAxis (as speed Slave).

Motor 1 (as Speed Master)---->Motor 2 (as Speed Slave)

These two motors must rotate exactly the same as if they were a single axis, the machines would rotate in the same phase and frequency.

Can you tell me if there is any example in which you can guide me and be able to make this application.

And which controls you use: Simotion or S7-1500T ? Or something else?

BTW, if this must be fulfilled under every circumstances due to possible collisions you are already in deep ...

The control is a S71500 and the drives are Sinamic S120 booksize type.
What I want to do is spin two separate systems with separate motors, but rotate at the same speed and frequency as a coupled gimbal Axis, but done with separate motors.

Machine 1 (Motor1) --------- Machine 2 (Motor2) = Wrpm equal

Unfortunately I haven't found more getting started appropriate examples. But searching on YT gives some hits.
