Hello,

I am trying to make a script that reads the current recipe name. The script itself is working fine if I have it on a button, or in the simulator on the "Command fired" event.

But when I download the project onto a Unified Comfort panel, the event doesn't trigger. I have tried button any code, change a tag or anything but the event is not triggered at all.

The script is on the Parameter Set Control, event Command fired.

Any ideas?!

Hi,

since the Unified Comfort Panel does not allow you to access a debugging console using the console object, you should test your script using the Trace method and the TraceViewer.

Thank you for the tip, i have been using tags for debugging on the panel.
But unfortunetely this doesnt solve my problem.

but reading the information displayed by the TraceViewer can be helpful for troubleshooting. Try looking for 'error' messages after your trace message "Event: Command fired, commandId=...". What do you see? Is the caught error ("Error occurred while reading parameter set name, error code: ...") displayed in TraceViewer?

Well the only info coming from the parameter control is:

there may be a bug related to this issue for Unified Comfort Panels. You should create a support request to inform Siemens and get feedback on a solution.

It is still not working on the panel only on the PC runtime.
