ET200S with MODBUS TCP/IP best option

Hi,

ET200s(6ES7151-8AB01-0AB0) with MODBUS TCP/IP.

Can some of you confirm me the best options by price here:

In our projects we are using ET200S as main PLC and communicate with many devices. Most of them

are able to communicate with MODBUS TCP/IP protocol but ET200S is NOT.

So for example:

To communicate with SENTRON PAC3200 we pay like this:

Option 1:

• 6ES7151-8AB01-0AB0; ET200S about 600€ 
• 6ES7138-4DF11-0AB0; MODBUS module about 300€

• 6ES7151-8AB01-0AB0; ET200S about 600€

• 7KM9300-0AE01-0AA0; profinet module on SENTRON PAC 160€

Problem with OPTION 2 (cheaper option) is that we make it possible just with 1 device, with option 2 we solve the communication problem with other devices too.

Now I have read here on forum for some "

With this option is MODBUS module necessary? How much licence costs?Does it support ET200S?

If the price is like option 2 in my example that would be solution for me, because for price same like option 2 we are able to communicate with other devices too since they support MODBUS TCP/IP
