Hello master, i want to read an encoder data to get feedback signal for positioning control using methode pid controller. is it possible?

my device are:

- PLC : S7-300

- Driver: Sinamic S110/PN(CU305-PN)

- 1FK7 Synchcronous motor (1FK7032-5AF21-1VA0)

I thing it is possible, you can choose one of communicating telegram containing actual position from encoder. S110 CUs support telegrams 3, 4, 102 and 103 (if you don't use positioner in drive), 110 and 111 (if you use positioner in drive), which contain actual position from encoder or from positioner.

You can check list manual for S110, there are Profidrive telegrams described in function diagrams in chapter 3.5.

thank you for the responses, maybe its out off the topic that i ask, i see something wrong in my starter, when i set the telegram the D0 not assigned the slot, do you know how can i solve this probem? i'm gratefull for the answer
