Find name of primary screen.

hxmiesa Posts: 17 Rating: (2)	Hi experts, I have added an IO-field in the standard "@button11.pdl" screen, which activates a popup-screen via a C-script, upon a change of the value of this IO-field. Basically this popup tells the opertor to go to the main screen ("event.pdl"), to monitor a special event. BUT; I want this popup NOT to activate, if the operator is already displaying said "event.pdl" screen. What must I write in the C-script? -or is there a totally different (and much better ;-) wy to achieve this funcionality??? Thank you in advance, and best regards Henrik Hoexbroe, Spain

hxmiesa Posts: 17 Rating: (2)	Thank you Nemo, I have read through the proposed documents, but am not able to figure out how to read the pdl-filename of the principal screen. I´ve inserted a static text in the specific screen I am talking about, to know what it is called, and this is what comes out; "@SCREEN.@WIN12:@1001.@DESK:EVENTS" (where I suppose "EVENTS" refers to the "events.pdl" screen currently shown. Now, I need to see if this "events.pdl" is acutally shown, before doing an action from another window/screen, more specifically from the "@SCREEEN.@WIN:@BUTTONS11" -where of course the "@BUTTONS11" part refers to the "@buttons11.pdl" screen. ("#buttons11.pdl" is a standard screen from PCS7, the line of buttons at the bottom of the screen...) So my question remains; How do you read the name of the .pdl file currently shown in the primary window/screen? Best regards Henrik
