I am writing a global function for a Runtime project, using a script to read the tags; it is recommended that the function CreateTagSet. Does this function create an array when it creates/reads the tag set.

Can I still individually call the tags in the set in a comparative if statement? As an example

Please let me know if anyone has any insight.

you use Javascript so I suppose you use WinCC Unified

As you can see it creates only an Object in your Javascript context. So you can use the HMI tags you are using in a Tagset also individdual in different contexts like IO fields or other scripts.
