What remote IOs are you using? Have you tried to power cycle the bus components? It is guessing game now. Please give more info about your config? Can you attach a picture of the HW config online?

Hsmiplc Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hello sir Thanks for your reply.. i just go to HW configuration and click the replace option & Replace the CPU from 6ES7-317-2AJ10-0AB0-to 6ES7-317-AK14-0AB0 I won't change the IO readdress.. I am very new person for siemens plc So please give advise to solve the issue... Before and after configuration screen shot attached.. mopS04 Platinum Expert Joined: 3/5/2014 Last visit: 8/5/2022 Posts: 5521 Rating: (1054)	hi HSmiplc, the addresses that are mentioned in the diagnosic buffer are not used. was the "new" PLC, 2AK14, used before? And is an other configuration and program on it? Even the BF-LED should not go on, because in your project is no Profibus projected. Make an overall-reset and load your configuration and your program to the CPU. regards,

ChristophD Grandmaster Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 1/15/2025 Posts: 22492 Rating: (3043)	Hi, this addresses can also be used in the DP Interface if the PLC is configured in I-Slave modus, have you check the properties of the DP Interface? If I-Slave is activated then the BF LED is ON if the connection to the Master PLC is not established. Regard Christoph

So the above comment probably a good lead. The CPU may be an I-Device, and the IO addresses not accessable. You need to make sure that the "DP Master System" get the updated with the "new slave". See theHow do you add a CPU as DP slave to the DP master system of a different CPU whereby the CPUs are configured in different STEP 7 projects? for guidance. Let us known how you getting on!

Can you just confirm that there was nothing connected into the CPU on board X1/X2 ports? Also can you please give information about the address range PIB610-625? (HW config - Toolbar 3rd from the right). Cheers
