FC361 EARTH FAULT

Dear Sir.

I have a small fire detection system, consist of FC361 cerberus panel and five flame detectors, and two Manual call points, two sounders.

when I started the system for the first time it was normal and fault free, then after about two month I came back to the site for test and handover to the client I was surprised, there is a message Saying, "Control Panel Earth Fault".

and when I tested any device such as flame detector or call point, the panel shows a fault message for small time then it gives the alarm. the message is.

"Fatal Fault Element"

any explanation shall be highly appreciated.

regarding the earth fault of FC361, and the suggestion of disconnecting the field devices, I have been in the site last week and I have removed all field wires and loop, I closed the loop and the sounder circuits with EOL. unfortunately, the fault still there.

When I checked the power supply there was a small voltage present in the protective earth wire, about 40 Volt. does this can make any problem?

Now the protective earth is okay, but I don't know may it was the reason for this fault.

anyway, what has to be done now? do I need to change the power supply or the mother board or what. please advise.
