Hi I am student, currently doing a project with siemens plc s7-1200. I would like to connect the plc with the node-red (my node-red is in my laptop and TIA Portal is install in another PC I am going to remote control the PLC through node-red). For simulation I was able to connect and read the data from the Node-Red with the NetToPLCSim.exe on my PC, but when I connect the TIA portal to the PLC and download my ladder diagram into the PLC, It was unable to connect to the server (I want to monitor the data and control the output from the node red) . Can teach me how to connect the node red with the PLC? My setting was I insert two ethernet cables to the PLC (one is from the wall socket LAN port to the PLC and another from the PLC to the PC), I had enabled the PUT/GET settings in the TIA Portal and also uncheck the "Optimize Block Access" from the properties of the Data block. The IP address of the PLC was default settings (192.168.0.1). On the Node-Red I had set the IP address to 192.168.3.32 (internet IP address, which I get it from the PC) Port = 102 Slot=2. But when I deploy the Node-Red it keep showing "Connecting" & "Offline". What should I do? Is it correct to use the internet IP address on the node-red and PLC using the default IP address, or should I change manually both? if change manually, how should I change? Thanks in advance!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
